Roof Preparation
Before the membrane is installed, we power wash the roof with water at 3,000 psi. Rust areas are abraded and treated with rust inhibitor.
Repairs
Fairchild Roofing will make minor sheet metal repairs, re-secure or replace loose or missing fasteners, seal vertical and horizontal seams, seal penetrations, and encapsulate fasteners.
Application of Metal Roof System
Once the cleaning and repair work is completed, we will spray-apply a first coat of grey synthetic rubber membrane. The thickness of this membrane can vary depending on manufacturer and guarantee.
The finishing coat of white synthetic rubber membrane is also spray-applied. Thickness of this membrane can vary depending upon manufacturer and guarantee.
